Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has finally recovered the body of the driver of a car which plunged into Ososa River along the Sagamu-Ijebu Ode Expressway.
The body which was missing when the car was recovered on Saturday was found on Monday, after about 48 hours of continuous search of the river.
Ogun State Sector Commander of the Corps, Clement Oladele, says the body was recovered on Monday morning by professional divers just recruited by the corps.
The car, driven by a non-academic staff of the Ogun State College of Education, Omu Ijebu, was on his way from Ilaro to Ijebu Ode, when its lone occupant, lost control of the vehicle, due to excessive speeding.
The car then crashed into the river.
Oladele says the body had been handed over to his family for burial.
