Four PDP guber aspirants rise against Fayose over primaries

Four Ekiti State People Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirants have jointly ask the party national leadership to bar Governor Ayodele Fayose from playing any role in the governorship primaries.

The primaries will enable the party pick candidate to fly its flag in the July 14 2018 governorship poll.

The aspirants, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, Senator Biodun Olujimi, Ambassador Dare Bejide and Mr Owoseni Ajayi, at a joint news conference in Ado Ekiti, want the Governor barred from the primaries, for adopting his deputy, Professor Kolapo Olusola for the PDP ticket.

The aspirants also call for the dissolution of the state PDP executive council, and its replacement with a caretaker committee to conduct transparent governorship primaries.
