Four Covid 19 patients were discharged on Christmas day in Ogun State after they had been successfully treated
Their discharge left 165 others still receiving treatment, including 161 at their various homes, three at isolation centre in Sagamu and one at Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta
No death of those receiving treatment was recorded same day
But 18 new cases were recorded in the state, including seven in Yewa South Local Government Area
Abeokuta South was credited with six of the new cases, three in Ifo as well as one each in Ipokia and Ado Odo local government areas The new infections raised the state’s total cases of the virus at 2,449, while 2,232 patients had been discharged as at last Friday
