Former Governor Olusegun Osoba of Ogun State has expressed concern over the failure of his successors, former Governor Gbenga Daniel and Governor Ibikunle Amosun to pay his severance allowances.
Osoba speaking at the presentation of a book on the Alake of Egbaland, in Abeokuta, also accused Daniel and Amosun of failing to replace his driver and steward, who had since died, as well as his cook who had retired.
The former governor who said he was not wretched, thanked god for sustaining him. On his return to the all progressive congress (APC), Osoba said the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo and the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, played major roles in the decision.
Osoba, however, blamed the media for misreporting what actually transpired when the South West APC leaders visited his Ikoyi home in Lagos, to formalize his defection from the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
