Hospital’s medical director, Professor Adewale Musa-Olomu, made this known while speaking with newsmen on the sideline of the award of outstanding leadership conferred on him by the National association of Nigerian students (NANS) in Abeokuta.
Musa-Olomu explains that the decision is to reciprocate the conduct and leadership virtues displayed by the students apex body.
NANS President, Danielson Bamidele Akpan, represented by the association spokesman, Azeez Adeyemi, says Musa-Olomu was chosen among other managers of public tertiary health institutions, because of his administrative intelligence and achievements since he assumed office in 2017.
According to NANS leadership, he has been able to resolve crisis he inherited at FMC Abeokuta noted for incessant workers/management clashes under previous medical directors.
NANS also says he was chosen for his award for his initiative on the proposed university of medicine which will be more beneficial to students in the country.
