FG, WORLDBANK FUNDED RICE FARM BEGIN HARVEST IN OGUN WEST

A co-operative Paddy Rice farm in Ogun State, has harvested 2,600 metric tons of Rice.

The farm project, supported by the Central Bank of Nigeria, The Federal Government and World Bank is located at Imeko Afon at Ogun State’s border with Benin republic.

Comptroller of Ogun State one customs command at Idiroko, Dera Nmamdi who made this known, during a press briefing said, the rice farm harvested the commodity last week.

The customs comptroller said this will boost the production of rice to meet the local demand market.
