FG Saves N20bn Monthly on Salary Bill after Eliminating Ghosts

The presidency says it is saving about N20 Billion on salaries monthly since it began to fish out ghost workers.

Finance ministry permanent secretary, Mr Mahmoud Isa-Dutse, made this known this in an interview with newsmen on the Sideline of a workshop organised for directors and top civil servants of Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies by the efficiency unit of the ministry.

Isa-Dutse says that the drastic reduction in the cost of monthly wages has reduced the wage from n165 billion to n145 billion monthly.

Isa-Dutse who declared the workshop open on behalf of the finance minister, Mrs Kemi Adeosun says the Buhari administration was interested in cutting costs and giving value for money spent.
