The Presidency has inaugurated a committee to implement the new national minimum wage.
The committee, headed by the Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, include seven Ministers.
Labour and Employment Minister, Chris Ngige, says the implementation is awaiting the completion of the modality for the implementation of the new wage by the National Salaries and Wages Commission.
The Minister assures that arrears of the new wage will be paid to Federal Workers anytime its implementation begins.
