Former Governor Ayodele Fayose has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for honoring the acclaimed winner of the annulled June 12, 1993 Presidential Poll, late Bashorun Moshood Abiola.
The Former Governor also criticized Former President Olusegun Obasanjo for failing to honour Abiola during his eight years in office as elected President.
Fayose on his tweeter handle says that Obasanjo was the greatest beneficiaries of June 12 political crisis, yet failed to honour Abiola.
He adds that failure of Obasanjo to honour Abiola while in Office remains the sore point of his political history.
Buhari among others given the late politicians a posthumous national award, changed the National Democracy Day from May 29 to June 12.
The Abuja National Stadium was also named after Abiola.
