Emenike targets more goals

Emmanuel Emenike has said he hopes to do something “spectacular” with Turkish giants Fenerbache after his brace sunk Monaco in a Champions League qualifier in midweek.

The Nigeria striker who returned to Fenerbache after a season away on loan, first to Al Ain of Dubai and then West Ham in the Premier League, said his main goal now is to score goals for the Turkish club.

He was forced out of the Istanbul outfit after a big fall out with the fans, but all that has now been forgiven and forgotten thanks to goals in pre-season and now against Monaco.

Emenike has certainly been boosted by his double in a 2-1 home win over Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday and he said he hopes to recover from a calf injury ahead of next week’s second leg in France.
