Leader of the proscribed Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, is returning to Nigeria from a hospital in India.
The movement, according to its spokesman, Ibrahim Musa, is expected back in Nigeria today.
The Shiite’s group, says the hasty return follows attempts to impose medical treatment at Medara Hospital in New Delhi.
Musa explains that El-Zakzaky says he departed India by 5am on Thursday.
On his return to Nigeria, he says that El-Zakzaky will seek alternative countries such as Malaysia, Turkey and Indonesia to continue the treatment.
The medical treatment became problematic, after El-Zazaky insisted that he should be treated by medical doctors in Indian hospital.
