Ekiti State PDP Executive Committee has rejected Senate Minority Leader, Mrs Abiodun Olujinmi, as the party leader in the state.
The committee insists that former Governor Ayodele Fayose remains the state’s PDP leader.
The PDP stakeholders last Friday appointed Olujinmi as the state PDP leader, on the ground that she is the south west PDP’s highest political office holder.
The stakeholders also resolved that the state executive committee be dissolved immediately.
The state executive committee in a communique issued at the end of its meeting in ado Ekiti, rejects Olujinmi as the state’s PDP leader, and insists on the expulsion of former secretary of the committee, Doctor Tope Aluko.
The committee alleges that both Olujinmi and Aluko, as well as party members creating crisis in the state’s PDP ahead of the 2019 polls, are APC moles.
