INEC directs distribution of unclaimed PVC

Ekiti State Resident Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Abdulganiyu Raji, said he has been receiving several threats, ahead of the state’s July 14 governorship poll.

The INEC commissioner, addressing a stakeholders meeting in Ado Ekiti, said the threats are coming from politicians and some elders, in the past few days.

He explained that, they are asking him to conduct a free and fair governorship poll, or he will face the consequence.

Raji said only 21 out of the 42 registered political parties, will be allowed to participate in the governorship poll.
