ECONOMIC CRISIS: Okogie urges Buhari to act fast

The archbishop emeritus of catholic archdiocese of Lagos, His Eminence Anthony Cardinal Okogie, has asked President Muhammdu Buhari to create an enabling environment to reduce the economic hardships in the country.

Okogie, addressing a news conference in Lagos, said the hardships have doubled within Buhari’s first year in office, and urged him not to take the goodwill he enjoyed when he was sworn into office, for granted.

The cleric asked Buhari to do all within the capacities of his government to revamp the economy before things get out of hand.

For instance, Okogie asked Buhari to purge his cabinet of members who according to him are not performing up to expectation.
