House Of Representatives has alerted the Presidency of a likely re-occurence of ebola virus in the country.
Nigeria, according to the lawmkers in two resolutions they adopted, says that Nigeria must be proactive because of its proximity to West African countries, and Dr Congo, where the disease had killed over 1,000 persons.
The house calls for intensive checks at Nigeria’s land borders, airports and seaports.
It also asks the Presidency to allocate funds for the management of the ebola virus in case it reoccurs in Nigeria.
