Department of petroleum resources has ordered oil depot owners to stop hoarding petroleum products in order to create an artificial scarcity of the products
Director of the agency, Sarki Auwalu, in a statement in Lagos, warned that any of them caught in the act will be sanctioned
Auwalu says that the department had received several reports of some of the depot owners who were creating artificial scarcity by hoarding products at their facilities
He, however explains that available records indicates that there is adequate supply of products to oil depots Petroleum Resources Minister of state, Timipire Sylva, recently asks Nigerians to brace for a fresh hike in the pump price of petrol as federal government could not afford absorbing the rising subsidy
