The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has accused the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, of being ignorant of the budgetary process.
Tinubu on Monday, had accused him and the Senate President, Bukola Saraki of deliberatly using the National Assembly, to delay the passage of Appropriation Bills sent by President Buhari, for consideration and approval.
Dogara, in a statement by his media aide, Turaki Hassan, blames the delay in the passage of budgets on the executive.
He accuses them of not presenting the bill in good time to achieve the January-December budget cycle.
He asks Tinubu to substantiate his allegation that the National Assembly distorted and padded the budget, while asking him to watch his language.
The Speaker says that Tinubu was after him, because he defeated his preferred candidate, Femi Gbajabiamila, in June 2015.
