The nationwide outbreak of Lassa has spread to 20 states.
Also, 142 persons have died from the disease, and 400 cases confirmed since last January.
This represents an increase from 134 deaths and 394 confirmed cases in 19 states since last March 25.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in a fresh data released on Wednesday, listed the 20 states where the virus has spread to include Lagos, Taraba, Delta, Osun, Rivers, Abuja, Gombe and Ekiti.
Others are Edo, Ondo, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Ebonyi, Anambra, Benue, Kogi, Imo and Plateau states.
Three states recorded more than 80 percent of reported cases of the virus.
The states, according to the centre, include Edo which recorded 42 percent of all reported cases; Ondo (23 per cent) and Ebonyi with 16 per cent.
