Panic has gripped Bauchi state, following the spread of the yellow fever outbreak in the state.
Six new cases of the deadly disease were uncovered in the state, raising the number of deaths of those afflicted to 22.
Executive secretary of the state primary healthcare development agency, Doctor Rilwan Mohammed, made this known to newsmen while giving an update on the outbreak of the disease.
He says the state recorded 143 suspected cases, out of which 22 resulted into deaths.
Mohammed explains that ten of those who died were rangers in the Yankari games reserve.
