Cloud technology firm, Oracle has alerted both the public and private organisations to possible increase in cyber security breaches this year.
The US based company said the security situation in Nigeria is getting worse.
Chief Executive Officer, Oracle Nigeria, Adebayo Sanni, in an interaction with journalists, in Lagos, canvassed increased adoption of cloud technologies to cope with the threat.
He noted that security breaches are gaining momentum daily, “and if care is not taken, more breaches will happen this year. But cloud technologies/computing can prevent this menace if adequately deplored.”
Cloud computing, according to Sanni enables unmatched speed, value, and better Return on Investment (RoI).
He said Oracle specialises primarily in developing and marketing database software and technology, cloud engineered systems, and enterprise software products, particularly its own brands of database management systems.
