Customs Intercepts Smuggled Petrol Hidden In Caskets

A customs patrol has intercepted 385 litres of petrol being smuggled out of Ogun State into Benin Republic

The smuggled petrol were loaded in the two caskets being conveyed in a rickety car marked lsd 617 cw

The smuggled petrol intercepted by the Joint Special Task Force, including Ogun State command, federal operating unit and the customs comptroller general strike force near the Idiroko border in Ogun State

Spokesman of the state customs command, Abdullajhi Maiwada, says the smugglers concealed 13 jerry cans of 25 Litres and six jerry cans of 10 litres of petrol in two new caskets.
