A federal high court, Abuja, has renewed its order for the suspension of the ongoing recruitment of 10,000 police constables by the Nigeria Police Force.
Justice Inyang Ekwo, last october 23, first issued the order while ruling on an application filed by the police service commission to cancel the recruitment exercise.
The commission, in its application, says it is the only body empowered by the constitution to recruit personnel into the police force.
Justice Ekwo, on monday, renewed the order when the commission’s counsel told the court that the police had gone ahead with the recruitment
