Contractors Paid Fully For Ogun Judicial Complex Under Construction

Contractors handling the Ogun State Judicial Complex at Kobape, near Abeokuta, have been paid fully by the former Amosun administration, on a project which is yet to be completed.

The contractor, Monterosa Construction Company, who made this known, says it has completed two out of the eight courtrooms in the complex.

The completed courtrooms are the Court of the State Chief Judge and Ceremonial Court.

Officials of the construction firm, who made this known to Governor Dapo Abiodun, during his inspection of the project, say the project is eighty percent completed.

The construction companies officials attribute the delay in completing the project on some unforseen issues.

For instance they complained that they have been buying water for the construction of the complex, following the failure of the borehole sunk for the project.

Governor Dapo Abiodun, in his reaction expresses dissatisfaction over the level of job completed by the contractor, after being paid fully in advance by the last administration.

The Governor also says that his administration will meet with the construction company to redesign the complex.
