Nigeria’s Chinedu Obasi has made a big impact on his official debut for Chinese side Shenzen FC, scoring two goals in their 6-0 win over Dalian Transcendence.
The Super Eagles attacker scored his first, and his side’s second, in the 32nd minute, finishing with a left-footed shot inside the penalty area.
He netted his second goal to make it 3-0 early in the second half, this time with a well-placed right-footed shot.
Obasi, 30, signed a one-year contract (with an option to renew) with Shenzen back in January.
He has represented Nigeria in the Olympics, Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup, and has featured for the likes of Hoffenheim, Schalke and AIK in his club career.
