A child and three other persons have lost their lives in a ghastly auto crash at Obada Oko, near Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Two others passengers also sustained injuries in the accident, which involves a Toyota vehicle marked em 866 app and unmarked flat bed trailer.
Spokesman of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Commander Babatunde Akinbiyi, says the four persons died on the spot.
He attributes the cause of the accident to reckless driving on the part of the truck driver and over speeding by the driver of the car.
Akinbiyi explains that the truck was making a u-turn without trafficating to other motorists, causing the car which was on top speed to crash into it.
According to the TRACE Spokesman, the truck driver and his assistant escaped from the accident scene, to avoid mob attack.
