Buhari Says His Votes Stolen In Akwa Ibom During Presidential Poll

President Muhammadu Buhari says some of the votes cast for him in Akwa Ibom State during the last February 23 Presidential Poll, were stolen.

Buhari, however, is optimistic that the stolen votes will be recovered during the Governorship and State House of Assembly polls on Saturday.

The President, represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, spoke at the town hall meeting held in Uyo, the State capital.

He also accuses Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of robbing APC Senatorial candidate, Godswill Akpabio of votes during the February 23 polls.

Buhari asks APC supporters in the State to defend their votes on Saturday, promising that security agencies will provide adequate security during the polls.
