President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he wants to leave a legacy of credible polls, at the expiration of his second term tenure on May 29, 2023.
Buhari says he will like to be remembered as a leader who is fair and just, a virtue, which according to him all leaders should strive for.
The President, speaking while receiving Governor Aminu Maisari at his private residence in Katsina, also says that he will like to be remembered as a leader who kept his word that elections in Nigeria must be credible.
Power, according to Buhari is a public trust that belongs to the people, and not by strength or wisdom.
