President Muhammadu Buhari has presented a N8.612 trillion 2018 appropriation bill before the National Assembly in Abuja, assuring it will reinvigorate the economy.
Buhari presenting the bill to a joint session of the National Assembly, explained that the projected expenditure, oil revenue, and the foreign exchange rate, will consolidate on the past budgets.
Buhari said that although the implementation of the 2017 budget is facing uncertainties in all fronts, he is optimistic that the year 2018 will be better in the implementation of budget.
“With the economic recovery made so far, it is clear that we made the right decisions.
“And I urge you all to support the Federal Government’s policies towards economic recovery,’’ he said.
In 2018, Buhari called on aggrieved people in the Niger Delta region to engage in dialogue with his administration, instead of resorting to threats in articulating their grievances
