President Muhammadu Buhari has directed both the police and the army to take appropriate measures to end violence and destruction of property in southern Kaduna.
Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu in a statement said Buhari also directed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), to conduct an assessment of the situation jointly with the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency for urgent aids to victims.
Following the directive, a squadron of mobile policemen had been stationed in the area for quick response to emergencies.
The army also is to station two battalion of soldiers in the area and maintain an aerial survey of the communities.
