*Thanks Nigerians for their prayers
President Muhammadu Buhari who travelled out of Nigeria on a vacation since January 19, has finally return to the country.
Buhari arrived the country through the Kaduna Aiport at 7.41 am, now serving as an alternative to Abuja airport, whose runway is undergoing repair.
The President was received on arrival by top government officials who had been waiting at the Kaduna Airforce Base since the early hours of the day.
From Kaduna airport, Buhari was flown to Abuja to resume duty at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where Yemi Osinbajo, his deputy, had been acting as the president in his absence.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, on Thursday night announced the possible arrival of the president back in the country today.
Adesina quotes Buhari appreciating Nigerians nationwide and beyond for praying for him while he was receiving medical treatment in London.
Buhari departed Abuja last January 19 on a 10-day vacation during which he said he will undergo a routine medical check-up in London.
The 10 day vacation was later extended on the recommendation of doctors.
