President Muhammadu Buhari has pleaded with Nigerian elites to assist in reducing the level of poverty in the country.
Buhari says he is worried over the level of poverty and the plight of the poor Nigerians.
He spoke while breaking Ramadan fast with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, members of his cabinet, Heads of Federal Departments and Agencies at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The elite, according to Buhari should address the issues of educational needs of the less privileged Nigerians.
On its own, Buhari says the Presidency has introduced people friendly programmes such as school feeding and trader Moni to relieve the poverty level.
