President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed more five Justices to the Supreme Court.
Presidential spokesman, Sheu Garba, in a statement says the President has written the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Mohammed on the new appointments.
The new appointments, according to Garba, will make full complement of 21 Justices in the apex Court.
Also Buhari has accepted the resignation of Former Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Walter Onoghen.
He thanks Onoghen for his service to the nation.
Onoghen who was suspended by Buhari was convicted by the Code of Conduct Bureau for false assets declaration, after which he resigned.
