Boko Haram Fighters Arrested In Edo

Police in Edo State says they have arrested four suspected fighters of Boko Haram in the State.

The State Police Commissioner, Mohammed Danmallam, who made this known to newsmen in Benin City, says the suspects escaped into the State from Kogi State.

The Police Chief says the suspects who fled into the state, after committing crimes in Kogi State, were arrested at their hideout in Afuze.

One of them, according to the Police Chief confessed to have killed 40 persons, while another escaped from Koton Karfi Prison in 2014, and participated in a robbery operation in Ekiti State in 2014.
