Bangladesh investors to establish ceramic factory in Kogi

Some investors from Bangladesh have disclosed that they are planning to establish a ceramic factory in Kogi State.

Bangladesh High Commissioner to Nigeria, Major General Sharif Kaikoba, who made this known during a courtesy call on Governor Yahaya Bello at the Government House in Lokoja, said the investors had finalized arrangements for the project.

The industry, according to the envoy would have taken off, but had to be put on hold because of the security challenges in the state.

The High Commissioner commended Governor Bello for the improved security situation in the state, and called for its sustenance to create enabling environment for foreign and local investors.

Governor Bello in his response explained that crime has drastically reduced in the state as criminals can no longer freely ply their trade

The Governor told the High Commissioner that he would not allow bureaucratic bottlenecks to frustrate the efforts of the investors to establish the ceramic factory in any area of their choice in the state.
