Aviation workers shut down Nigeria’s major airports

Aviation workers protesting the proposed concession of airports have shut down the country’s major airports in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano and Abuja.

The protests was organized by the air transport service senior staff association of Nigeria, the National Union of Air Transport employees and the National Union of Pensioners.

The Aviation Minister of State, Hadi Sirika, recently announced the plan to concession the nation’s airports.
