Ogun State House of Assembly is to embark on the assessment of the 2019 budget performance of the outgoing Amosun’s administration.
The exercise scheduled to take off on Monday next week is being undertaken as the Amosun administration wind up its tenure on May 29.
The House, during its Tuesday plenary passed the resolution to carry-out the assessment of the capital projects approved in the 2019 budget for the state ministries, departments and agencies.
The resolution was adopted, following a motion by the House Deputy Speaker, Kunle Oluomo, and seconded by the House Chief Whip, Idowu Olowofuja.
The motion was supported by a whole House through a voice vote.
The House last December had approved N250.3 billion capital expenditure and N126.16billion recurrent expenditure, totaling N400 billion as the State’s 2019 budget.
The Assembly’s Acting Clerk, Deji Adeyemo in a statement enjoins all MDAs to adhere strictly to the scheduled time table for the exercise and make available relevant documents to ensure the success of the budget performance appraisal.
