Nigerian Army says it is shopping for 1 billion Naira to support its vehicle manufacturing plant in Zaria.
The proposed fund is to enable the plant to produce armoured fighting vehicles and maintenance of existing equipment in the armoury of Nigerian Army.
Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, made this known at the Army Firepower Demonstration at the Camp Kabala Range, Jaji.
The plant’s Group Managing Director says the plant, within the next three to four months, will turn out brand new military vehicles for use.
