All Progressive Congress (APC) has absolved its leaders from the ongoing moves to form an opposition mega political party, ahead of the 2019 polls.
The party said the proposed mega party should be encouraged to materialise, in order to have a formidable opposition party that will put it on its toes.
APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, told newsmen in Abuja that APC leadership had met with party’s members in the National Assembly, and a former vice president, as part of moves to reposition the party.
Oyegun also said that APC leaders are awaiting the arrival of the party’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu back to Nigeria, to have a meaningful discussion with him as a respected party leader.
