Members of cabinet of Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, have started vacating the Commissioners Quarters at Kuto, Abeokuta, ahead of May 29 hand over to the incoming Abiodun administration.
All the cabinet members and other top aides of the Governor had been directed to move out of the complex, a week to the hand over date.
The movement of the political appointees, including Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants, with their belongings out of the Complex, was first noticed two weeks ago.
Those who moved out this week, include the Senior Special Assistant for the Political Affairs, Senior Special Assistant on Commerce and Industry, and the General Manager of Ogun Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA).
But all the six Commissioners still serving in the Amosun cabinet, are yet to vacate the quarters, and will likely do so early next week.
Earlier, most of the Commissioners who resigned from the cabinet to contest for various elective positions in the 2019 general election moved out their belongings from the quarters last week.
Also, the belongings of Former Commissioner of Urban and Physical Planning, Mrs Ronke Sokefun, who is now the Chairman of Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) was moved out of the quarters on Tuesday, this week.
