Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State says he is now politically wiser after spending four years in office.
The Governor made this observation while answering questions from the State House Correspondents, after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Ambode, who visited Buhari to thank him for his last month’s visit to Lagos to commission some projects, says that he came into office as a technocrat, recalling regarding himself as a techno politician.
The Governor, who now says he is leaving office as a politician than a technocrat, says he learnt everyday as a politician.
Apart from Ambode, President Buhari also received at the Villa, the Governors of Benue, Kaduna and Anambra states separately.
He also met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, whose tenure he extended last week.
