Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) has organized a night that bring together practitioners to have fun, share ideas on how the industry can cope with the challenges posed by the economic recession.
The industry night held at La Mango bar in the Ikeja Government Reservation Area in Lagos, which had major players in the industry in attendance, is a huge success.
Some of the major advertising agencies who grazed the industry night, include DDB Lagos, Noah Ark, DKK and Associates, ODI Communications, Insight Communications and Leo Burnett.
Other agencies such as Centrespread and Fuel Communications also graced the night.
A member of the association’s committee which organized the night, Mr. Onuora Molokwu who is the chief operating officer of Cosse Limited, told Rockcity FM that the Industry Night aims at creating an avenue for all advertising agencies to come together and unwind.
Molokwu explained that the organising committee tried to improve on the content of the events of the Industry Night, while making efforts to make it an international event.
Very soon, Molokwu stated, advertising practitioners from other countries, including Ghana will participate in the industry night.
A copy writer with Noah Ark, Mr Kunle Omope who also spoke with Rockcity FM says the night is long awaited as it afforded advertising practitoners to unwind and meet each others.
Also, Fibi Okeyinka of Fuel Communications, also says the night enable officials of advertising agencies to share ideas, network, relax and have fun.
