Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has directed the resumption of work on the n70 billion 32 kilometre Sango Ota-Ojodu Abiodun Expressway project.
Following the directive, immediate palliative work has taken off on the road, which is one of the projects abandoned by the immediate past Amosun administration.
The governor says the road is one of the project that will be given special attention by his administration, after the rainy season ends.
Amosun administration had awarded a n12 billion contract in 2012 for the ambitious road project, which was later revised upward to n70 billion, following the upgrading of the project.
Last year, former governor said his administration is shopping for n45 billion to complete the road project which had already gulped n25 billion.
