One of the school girls abducted by Boko Haram fighters from Chibok in Borno State in 2014 has been found.
The girl, identified as Falmala Mbalala, was found on the fringe of Sambisa forest, shortly after an encounter between security forces and Boko Haram fighters.
She was found breast feeding a baby.
Army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman, in a statement said the girl who was rescued at baale, near Damboa, is the same girl named by BBC as Amina Nkek from Mbala village.
Usman said the rescued girl is now with an army formation in Damboa.
BBC in its earlier report had said she was rescued by the civilian joint task force in Kulukaisa area at the fringe of the Sambisa forest
