ADC governorship candidate, alleges plot to rig poll in Ogun state

ADC governorship candidate

Ogun state ADC governorship candidate, Prince Gboyega Isiaka, has alerted of an alleged plot by some political parties to rig the forthcoming polls in the state.

The grand plan of those involved is to make the results of the March 2 governorship poll inconclusive in the state.

The candidate, who raised the alarm at a news conference in Abeokuta, asked security agencies in the state to be at alert to pre-empt the alleged plot.

The governorship candidate said, he will not name the political parties, but warned that ADC will defend all the votes given to him during the poll.

Isiaka explained that those hatching the plots, intend to use miscreants and political thugs to launch attacks in most of the polling booths.

Isiaka asked the new INEC resident electoral commissioner, Professor Abdul-Ganiyu Raji, not to allow himself and the agency officials to be used for such a plan.
