Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state has said that his opponents in the state APC are angry with him because of his upgrading of Abeokuta into a modern city.
The governor, however said it is uncharitable for anyone to accuse him of developing Abeokuta 40 years after becoming the state capital, over other major towns in the state.
Amosun, addressing APC supporters during his ward-to-ward senatorial campaign in the Ewekoro local government area, dismissed the claims in certain quarters that his administration neglect other parts of the state.
He cites the construction of flyovers and roads in Ijebu Ode, Ijebu Igbo, Sagamu as part of the determination of his administration to spread development to other parts of the state.
Amosun explained that the policy of his administration is that for every three infrastructural projects in Abeokuta, there must be one in other parts of the state. Please subscribe to our newsletter
