Ondo Poll: PDP Heads for Tribunal

PDP has asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to follow the rule of law in its planned trial of outgoing Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, whose tenure ends on Tuesday, midnight.

PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, made the call at the party’s headquarters, Abuja, at a send-off party organized for Fayose, who is the chairman of PDP Governors forum, on Sunday night.

Fayose, who departed Ado Ekiti, the state capital on Sunday, after handing over to the secretary to the state government, promises to report to EFCC headquarters, Abuja on Wednesday.

Secondus told EFCC that, the world is watching what will happen to the governor, who according to him, performed well, as Ekiti state Governor.
