3.1 Million Barels Of Crude Stolen In Nigeria In 2020

Nigerian navy has put the volume of crude oil stolen by crude oil thieves and pipeline vandals at 3.1 million barrels between January and December last year

The navy in its report says that the nation also lost over one million metric tonnes of diesel, 2.6 million litres of petrol as well as 3.6 million litres of Kerosine during the period

During the period, the navy also says that 339 attacks by pirates were recorded in the gulf of guinea, and 107 robberies within Nigeria’s territorial waters

The navy, however, says it recovered 3.1 million barrels of crude oil, as well as 7.1 million litres of petroleum products valued at billions of naira
