About 250,000 applicants are scrambling for 5,000 jobs advertised by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The figure was recorded last August 29 when the anti-narcotic agency closed its recruitment portal to applicants.
NDLEA spokesman, Jonah Achema says the recruitment was extended from August 29 by one week, due to the hitches in the process caused by poor network.
President Buhari had approved the recruitment by NDLEA to increase its workforce to strengthen its operation.
Achema explains that the collation of the applications is still ongoing, preparatory to shortlisting of successful candidates for final selection of the recruitment exercise.
