2016 HAJJ VISA: Capturing of intending pilgrims data begins

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) says it has begun coordinating the capture of the data of all intending Nigerian pilgrims for the issuance of visa for this year’s hajj in Saudi Arabia.

The commission in a statement by its spokesman, Uba Maina, said the data of 15,531 intending pilgrims had so far been captured in the database.

It asked all intending hajj pilgrims to submit their e-passports to the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for further processing.

NAHCON also cautioned intending pilgrims for this year’s hajj, against exporting Kolanut to Saudi Arabia, warning that the Saudi authorities has threatened to sanction any pilgrim caught in the act.
