Two people have been killed in the four day old clashes by rival cult groups in Sango Ota area of Ogun state.
The killing of the two last Tuesday, is the peak of the clashes by the cultists which began last weekend in the area, during which several people were robbed.
Spokesman of the State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the deceased identified as Joe and Ahmed were initially injured during the clashes, but later died in the hospital where they were taken to by the police.
The clash, according to witnesses was between members of the Aiye confraternity and Eiye confraternity cult groups.
Rockcity FM learnt that a member of Aiye confraternity, identified as Para was killed earlier by suspected Eiye members, whose members were said to have carried out a reprisal attack, last Tuesday at Ketere and Iyana Araromi against members of the Aiye confraternity.
The police spokesman said the police are not aware of the alleged killing before Tuesday clash.
